A full sheet of copper coated on both sides with a flexible, rubbery bituminous compound as manufactured by AFCO Products Inc., Somerville, Ma 02143.

The permanence of copper plus protection against electrolysis by it's rubbery bituminous coating. Acid and alkali resistant. AFCO exclusive compound offers greater flexibility and firmness.

AFCO FLASHING CEMENT

AFCO Flashing Cement is a high grade, asphalt based, trowel consistency black compound especially developed for use in bonding flashings, to itself and various masonry surfaces. It is also a very satisfactory waterproofing compound for foundation coatings, stone work and especially roof repair.
AFCO Flashing Cement is an excellent bonding agent for thru-wall flashings and between layers of composition roofing, for waterproofing flashings, roof vents, skylights, brick and masonry. It guards against moisture penetration and is used to seal fissures, cracks, and crevices and also allows for expansion and contraction.
AFCO Flashing Cement is available in 5 Gallon Pails.
AFCO Flashing Cement is the only flashing cement that we recommend for use in conjunction with AFCO Copper laminated flashings.
Coverage: Approximately 100 square feet per 5 Gallon Pail.
